What is VBS?

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a fun-filled, spiritually enriching week where kids explore the Bible through stories, music, crafts, games, and more! It's a safe, high-energy environment for kids to grow in their faith and build lasting friendships.

VBS is completely free and open to all children Kindergarten - Grade 6 in our community!

This year, saddle up and join us on an adventure through the wonder-filled West! At Wonder Junction, our trail guides will lead us to discover the greatest wonder of all—Jesus Christ. Each day, we’ll dig deeper into who Jesus is and explore big questions like:

  • The Wonder of His Birth – What amazing things happened surrounding Jesus’ birth?

  • The Wonder of His Childhood – What was Jesus like as a child and teen?

  • The Wonder of His Ministry Years – What wonders occurred during Jesus’ ministry?

  • The Wonder of His Death and Resurrection – How were Jesus’ death and resurrection like no other?

  • The Wonder of His Return – What should we be doing as we wait for Jesus’ return?

    • Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

    • Location: Aldergrove Canadian Reformed Church: 26655 24 Ave

    • Ages: Entering Kindergarten – Entering 6th Grade

  • At Wonder Junction, kids will rotate through five exciting sites:

    • High Point Bible Time: Engaging lessons that delve into the life and teachings of Jesus.

    • Sweet Sadie’s Snacks: Tasty treats to energize our explorers.

    • Gallopin’ Gabe’s Games: Fun and active games to reinforce the day's lessons.

    • Carpenter Joe’s Crafts & Science: Hands-on activities that bring biblical truths to life.

    • Miss Millie’s Music & Verses: Uplifting songs and memory verses to sing praises to Jesus.

    • Make new friends in a welcoming environment

    • Grow in their faith through engaging Bible lessons

    • Take home crafts and memories that last a lifetime

    • Theme Song & Memory Verses

    • Safety First: All volunteers are background-checked and trained in child safety.

    • Check-In Process: Quick and secure drop-off and pick-up procedures.
